Kimberly has settled in well to her new role as Early Years Practioner. The team feel like Kimberly has always been with us and she has already become a valuable member of staff.
Kimberly‘s calm and nurturing nature is well suited to the role, and while new to the industry, Kimberly has had plenty of experience with her own five children who are between the ages of six and thirteen and she is keen to develop her practice. She attended her Outdoor Paediatric First Aid course within the first week of her employment!
Kimberly studied design at university and continues to find time for sewing, crochet, painting, photography and floristry.
We are delighted to have an early years practitioner with such a good eye for creativity helping the children to learn through our various craft activities.
Expressive Arts & Design
Expression through art & design is an important part of our curriculum as creative learning stimulates the imagination and teaches the children to explore and express themselves. Learning how to represent their thoughts, feelings and ideas through art, stories and music is fun and builds confidence. Kimberly will be teaching the children to safely use a variety of tools, materials and techniques so that they can experiment and learn. Kimberly's creativity also comes in handy when creating costumes for the kids and making bit & bobs for her annual charity auction in aid of SANDS.
Kimberly also loves to travel and luckily for her children Disney World is one of her favourite places!
We are excited to see Kimberly’s knowledge and practice flourish and look forward to her development over the coming years. We feel privileged to have her as part of our Early Years team.
